Avonlea Farms Fall Wedding
Truth be told, I've been putting off this blog post because it's hard to summarize the beauty of this gorgeous fall wedding at Avonlea Farms, especially when the bride and groom are friends, and ESPECIALLY when you've seen them walk through so many seasons of life together - always growing stronger with each challenge.
So, I'm going to let the photos speak for themselves.
We started the day with some getting ready photos of the girls in Avonlea's Farmhouse Bridal suite. I was so impressed with the space and natural light!
Then we hopped across the pond (read: given a ride by Avonlea's amazing staff) to grab some photos of the guys hanging out in Gilbert's Cottage!
Was I gushing over these colors and this light and these trees? Yes, yes I was.
The ceremony had everyone in tears.
Onto sunset portraits - there are endless options at Avonlea, but we couldn't resist the fall sunset light in the field.
While we finished up portraits, guests enjoyed coffee, cocktails, and yard games. Shout-out to the folks at Coalesce Coffee for the hot cuppa! We snuck into the reception space at the very end for a sneak peek before guests took their seats. It's so nice when we have time to add this into your day so you can see your vision come to life!
The reception space was where the whole event came together - a candlelit greenhouse decked in fall florals is my actual dream come true.

Then into the greenhouse for dinner from GarnishRVA, followed by toasts. After the traditional best man and maid of honor toasts, Joe and Jess each spoke, recognizing their mothers. Cue more tears!
Family.

I don't think I'll ever be over this day!
